Who Succeeds Hon Nkiru Onyejeocha At The Green Chamber Come 2019?

The battle of who succeeds Hon Nkiru Onyejeocha at the green chamber come 2019 has been drawn and there’s no going back. Though no individual has been given a green light from his or her political parties as all the aspirants are still seeking the blessings of some stakeholders, political godfathers, and some political bigwigs in the state and outside the state to endorse them for the big task ahead.

Hon Nkiru Onyejeocha has been representing Isuikwuato/Ummuneochi Constituency at the Federal House of Rep for the past 12years and still nursing the ambition of running for the fourth time in a roll but she was met with some obstacles as some Isuikwuato media gurus started a campaign against her fourth time agenda mid last year and that pave ways and gave some momentum to some aspirants today. Hon Nkiru Onyejeocha who has been representing Isuikwuato/Ummuneochi under People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has been having some internal issues with her party and has been jumping from one political parties to another seeking refuge but all seems to be refusing her quest to join them.

1.  Mr. Emeka Ikwuagwu George is the founder of EMEKA IKWUAGWU FOUNDATION. The Foundation is a non-governmental and non- profit organization, which was founded and is funded solely by Mr. Emeka Ikwuagwu George, purely for humanitarian assistance to the poor and needy.

2. Dr Ejike Oji is a Medical Doctor with over 38years of experience.  He was born into the family of Mazi B.A. Oji and Helen Ogbealu Oji of Ndi Oji compound Umudinja, Amaeke Ovim of Isuikwuato Local Government Area of Abia State. He is married to Hon. Justice Chizoba Oji and blessed with four (4) wonderful children.

3. Engr. Gladys Ihuoma Okoro popularly known as Ada Jesus hails from Ovim, Isuikwuato LGA of Abia State. Engr Gladys Ihuoma Okoro also contested for this position in 2015 but lost during the primaries.

4. Chief Amobi Ogah hails from Uturu, Isuikwuato LGA of Abia State.

5. Chief Lady Lilian Chinasa Obenwa foldly referred to as Ugo eji eje Mba. She hails from Ekebe Eluama, Isuikwuato LGA of Abia State.

Chief Lady Lilian Chinasa Obenwa had her primary and secondary education in Owerri, Imo State. She thereafter obtained a bachelor of art honours degree mass communication from Imo State University.

Chief Lady Lilian Chinasa Obenwa is a recipient of several Awards and chieftaincy titles from communities around south east states. She has been conferred with the titles of Ugo eji eje Mba 1 of item, bende LGA Abia State, IGOLO South East, Onu na ekwuru umu-nwanyi, Achala Ugo Nwanyi.

In political positions- currently she is the Abia state coordinator women for Buhari and osinbanjo 2019, also an APC zonal women mobilizer southeast.

6. Mr. Jude Okechukwu Udeachara, is the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Governor Okezie Ikpeazu on Trade and Investment. He hails from Uturu, Isuikwuato LGA of Abia State. He’s an Industrial Microbiologist.

7.  Barr. Loveth Ofoegbu is from Uturu in Isuikwuato Local Government Area. Barr. Loveth Ofoegbu is a very successful lawyer with over 10years experience at the Bar. She is currently the Board Chairman of ASEPA (Abia State Environmental Protection Agency).

She was the Commissioner for Lands and Survey during Orji Uzo Kalu’s administration and also served as a Commissioner in the Local Government Service Commission for two tenures (8 years) during Chief T.A. Orji’s administration.
