Three Teachers Crushed To Death In A Car Accident In Ogun State

Three female teachers in Abeokuta, Ogun State, were on Monday crushed to death by a car.

The accident was said to have occurred at Alapako, opposite the office of the Ogunmakin unit of the Federal Road Safety Corps, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

It was gathered that the teachers were standing by the roadside after school hours when the Toyota Camry with the number plate, EPE 140 BP, rammed into them.

One of the them was said to be a teacher in a public school at Ajebo, Abeokuta.

The fourth victim was said to have sustained some injuries.

Confirming the incident, the Public Relations Officer of the Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps, Babatunde Akinbiyi, said the driver lost control of the car,

He said, “The driver lost control of the car and crushed three teachers when one of the front tyres of the speeding car pulled out.

“One injured person was taken to a hospital, while the corpses of the three victims were deposited in a morgue.”
