Police have arrested a 22year old apprentice, Suliat Badmus for stealing her boss 5months old baby in Lagos. Her boss, Shukurat Odoguyan at No1, Adeyiga Street Odoguyan in Ikorodu of State reported the case of her missing child to the police when she could not locate her baby with her apprentice.
According to TheNation, the suspect revealed that she stole the baby because she has been married for three years without having a child and besides, she loves having children around her.
According to her, a native doctor had told her she will never conceive and that led to her being desperate to have a child. The suspect stole the baby when she noticed a neighbour her boss left her with, was distracted.
Parading the suspect on Wednesday, Police Commissioner, Imohimi Edgal, said the case of the missing child was reported on September 27, but the investigation led to the arrest of the suspect at Sabo in Ikorodu.
