2019 Election: PPN Governorship Candidate Mobilises South-East For Al-Mustapha

Aja made the call at a news conference in Abakaliki on Friday while unveiling Al-Mustapha as the Presidential candidate of the party.

According to him, Al-Mustapha is a disciplined retired army officer, thorough bred politician with requisite leadership knowledge and experience to reposition the nation’s ailing political and socio-economic system.

He said that as a former Chief Security Officer (CSO) to the late Military Head of State, Gen. Sani Abacha, Al-Mustapha possessed enormous political experience to galvanise Nigeria for greatness.

He emphasised that the emergence of Al-Mustapha as the Nigeria’s next president would right the wrongs of the past administrations and place the country on the right path for economic and political greatness.

He said that the party’s presidential candidate represents hope and collective aspiration of a new and better Nigeria and urged the Igbos to support him to emerge as the next President.

“The entry into the presidential race of Al-Mustapha is a wakeup call for every Nigerian especially the youths who have suffered untold neglect and political deprivation from the old breed politicians.

“Human beings are wired to learn and change, not to stay in one place, doing the same thing over and over again.

“The world itself is not state. It’s dynamic. Leave your comfort zone and try new things.

“Al-mustapha represents a new Nigeria for all of us and he has promised to reposition the country for the better,’’ Aja said.

He said that PPN government would tackle corruption, unemployment, infrastructure decay, insecurity, ensure equitable distribution of the nation’s resources and ensure access to qualitative education if elected into power in 2019.
