AFN AWARD 2018: Abia Facts Newspaper Award Event Unites Abia Political Elites

There is a season for everything under the sun, a time to work and a time to reward, this is the interpretation of what happened at the 2018 Abia Facts Newspaper Award event that held at Evergreen Hotel in Umuahia on Friday 21st December 2018.
The Abia Facts Newspaper Annual Awards is a Special Projects initiative of Abia Facts Newspaper which was established in 2014, and is now rated as the most influential online medium in Abia State.
Gold Ink communication Ltd, publishers and managers of Abia Facts Newspaper and Online TV took the center stage in Abia State to host the biggest award event, recognizing great men and women who have in their little ways contributed immensely to the development of Abia State.
The highlight of the event was when all Abians witnessed a great unification among the political elites in Abia state, despite deep political differences.
Abia Facts Newspaper award platform is obviously becoming an integration platform and a platform where unity is expressed.
At the event the likes of APC governorship candidate Dr. Uchechukwu Ogah, Hon. Prestige Ossy, Abia State House of Assembly Majority Leader Hon. Engr Chinedum Orji, Former Abia State Speaker Rt. Hon Martins Azubuike, Abia State Commissioner for Finance Mr Obinna Oriaku, executive Chairman of Isialangwa North Honorable Ginger Onwusibe, former MD Hallbank Sir Marc Wabara , ASPIMMS GM Dr. ACB Agbazuere Esq and numerous others , made Abians understand through their action of sitting together under one roof, smiling, dining and wining that Abians love themselves despite the political difference.
Abia Facts Newspaper Personality of the Year 2018, Chief Dr. Daniel Chimezie Okeke also took his time to preach the need for Abians to work together and build the state for a better future.
The high point of the event was when Abia Facts Newspaper highest award, Abia Facts Newspaper Personality of the year 2018 was call up to received his award, the whole place was electrified. Dr Ogah described the recipient as one man that merits this the award and described the award as a signal to great things to come in the future.
in this year AFN Award Nite, the chief editor of Abia Facts Newspaper, Mr. Emenike Iroegbu, in his speech deeply appreciates the awardees for accepting the award and also advise them that the award is to let them know that people are looking at them and their deeds. He also unveiled a solution to the recent negative vices experienced on the social media and explained that the solution is simply training of online media practitioners. The solution gave birth to the idea AFN SOCIAL MEDIA ACADEMY.
he boosted that the innovation is proudly born in Abia State and is sure to move to other states in Nigeria and possibly Africa.
