President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to arrive Abia state on the 10th of January 2019 to flag off the Abia APC campaign rally, the rally which will hold at Umuahia township stadium will witness over 100.000 people in attendance.
According to the chairman of the Abia APC rally committee, Hon. Iheanacho Obioma, the party will be issuing flags to all their candidates and will also receive over 12000 decampees from other political parties on the day of the event.
The rally which is expected to host all the governorship candidates of the party in south east will have in attendance the leader of the party His excellency Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the party’s national chairman His excellency Comrade Adams Oshiomhole with other party bigwigs across the federation.
The highpoint of the rally will be the handing over of the party’s flag by the national chairman of the party to the Abia APC governorship flag bearer Dr. Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah and other candidates of the party.
