ABIA ELECTION DEBATES : APGA’S UGBOAJA AND YPP’S CHUKWUNARU BACK DOWN AS BEN KALU AND ANYASO DEBATE FOR FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY

The Abia state election Debates kicked off today with the candidates of the People’s Democratic Party, Chima Anyaso and that of the All Progressives Congress Benjamin Kalu, Participating in the debate.

The Debate which started at exactly 11:30am saw the candidates slug it out as they each presented their visions and blueprint to the electorate.

According to Anyaso, his pivotal interest is on the area of the Health and Development of the people. According to him, “only a healthy person that appreciates dividends of democracy.” While Benjamin Kalu focused on the development of inherent Agrarian capacity of the constituency. According Barr. Kalu, “we have to leverage on our strength and that our strength is in the Agricultural sector. He went further to highlight the individual strengths of the various communities in Bende and how he intends to improve upon the status quo. Details of this debate and videos will be published soon.

The other candidates in Bende Federal constituency like the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance Emma Ugbajah and that of the Young Progressives Party Charles Chukwunaru failed to attend even as invitations were duly sent to them.
