Ohanaeze, Providing Effective Leadership In The South East – Chief Dike Ojemba

Ohanaeze

OhanaezeThis, no doubt, is another trying time in our history as ndi Igbo. Not since the Nigerian civil war has the Igbos as a race or people of the south east, been faced with alleged state sponsored terror group, loosely identified as “Fulani Herdsmen”, armed to the teeth with military type assult weapons, invading her land, destroying farms, raping both men and women, kidnapping, robbing and killing the people while state security officials look the other way and do absolutely nothing to stop them. Amazing!!

The problem this time is not peculiar to ndi Igbo though, but it has further demonstrated as well as revealed who their true leader is. While in other zones of the south and the middle belt the people are more united with the political leadership providing the means to engage the enemy, in the south east the Ohanaeze is alone with little or no assistance from the political class and the loud “money bags” who invest mostly outside the zone and in private jets, long convoys and palatial homes while doing nothing to assist their people defend themselves. Not surprising at all, that has been the Igbo atitude to their collective affairs.

The Igbo socio cultural oganization, Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo world wide, led by Chief John Nnia Nwodo, Ike Ukehe, rose to the challenge of defending the defenceless people south east against their enemy like never before, earlier in the current crises. The body had never been so strong and equal to the task of defending the right and freedom of the people. They say it the way it is. Ndi Igbo are listening and will follow your steer.

Ndi Igbo, both at home and in the diaspora, hail and salute the courage, vission, doggedness, tenacity, effective/ purposeful leadership and the rare intellect of their leader.

History will vindicate Chief Nnia Nwodo and ndi Igho shall celebrate him at the appropriate time. He, in concert with his exco members, have demonstated skills and quality in leadership inspite of the odds, showing love and affection for the people like never before.

All these have gone on with southeast political leadership asleep, empty, divided, cowardly, with no direction and in persuit of secret personal and political agendas. Time will tell how much they have abused the opportunity of a life time they have and failed ndi Igbo at their time of need.

While the one elected as Gov in Ebonyi, who functioned very effectively as the chairman of the south east Governors Forum in the IPOB days, is alleged to be nursing a “Presidential” ambition, in Nigeria, for which he was allegedly endorsed by the Myietti Allah or otherwise called the Fulani Cattle Owners Association of Nigeria, the people who are killing the people, the one in Anambra who rose to power as Gov on the platform of APGA, but allegly donated N2b to the campaign of President Buhari from the fraud he championed in APGA that ruined the party and the chances of its innocent members in 2019 elections, openly endorsed and campaigned for Buhari to win in Anambra. He even fell out and abused the Ohanaeze leadership for rallying the Igbos for PDP against their haters APC.

Thank God the Igbo votters went with their Ohanaeze except that some double faced individuals benefitted from that Ohaneze call. Excellency does not last forever. Those who see it as a destination and use it against others, will surely account to God.

Whoever thinks Igbos don’t know what the truths are, is living in a fools paradise. Igbos do and will always know who their true leaders, with so much respect, love for them and the fear of God are. Staging jamborees and deceptive shows on national networks while investing in personal high rise mansions, hotels, estates etc outside their states while others suffer, will not live forever. The world will soon know them. They only fake or pretend, they have no God in them.

At no time in will ndi Igbo not be in the forefront and able to decide who will be their leader. No group, external body, tribe or king maker will ever take away the right of the Igbos to decide their fate. Never!!
