The initiator of “Revolution Now” a movement that is supposed to happen on the 5th of August and the Presidential candidate of the African Action Congress in the February 2019 presidential election, Mr. Omowole Sowore, has been arrested by the operatives of the Department of State Services.
The news of his arrest was broken by Sahara Reporters an online tabloid owned by Mr. Sowore.
Sowore was arrested in the early hours of Saturday at about 1.25 a.m. in his apartment Sahara Reporters said.
He posted a distress tweet at exactly 1:25 am with an eyewitness confirming that his phone was forcefully taken from him.
