Flo FM  Sports Presenter to receive "First Young Journalists Award for Youth in Africa in Cairo, Egypt.

The First Young Journalists Award for Youth in Africa is considered as the first award from Egypt for young journalists and media professionals in Africa.

David Oku (Davidtalks) alongside two other journalists in Africa was selected for the award due to his robust coverage of the African Cup of Nations in Egypt.
David Essien Oku is a Nigerian Sports Broadcaster who hails from Odukpani Local Government Area, Cross River State.

David started honing his broadcasting skills from the famous Cross River Broadcasting Coperation (CRBC) Calabar, before joining Flo-fm Umuahia in 2017.

He is the anchor of Sports Trax, Monday Night Football, and MidweekSportsReel and finds Interest in Youth Sports Development, Promotion, and Reporting during Sports competitions. He recently covered the Africa Cup of Nations 2019 in Egypt and will also be present at the Africa under 23 Cup of Nations starting from 8 November in Cairo.

The award ceremony comes up on 10 November in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
