Army Personnel attached to 14 bde Ohafia last weekend displayed their routine exercise known as ‘show of force’ alongside other sisters agencies which includes the Nigerian Navy and Department of State Security Service led by C/O 145 battalion.
Newsmen who monitored the exercise gathered that residents were extremely happy sighting the military, decry the sleepless nights and its effect on their businesses since the rise of notorious criminals who robbed both on broad day and in the night.
It was also gathered that the operatives simultaneously carried out the exercise in two major cities of the state like Aba and Umuahia, reiterated there support towards ensuring a water tight security henceforth.
Criminal activities has in the past one month gained a heightened momentum in Aba and Umuahia.
