Afy Douglas is a Nigerian born Worship Leader, Song writer and recording Artist. This man who is a Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, is considered legendary by many as he has been actively involved in the music of the church for 23 years and counting. Dubbed king of RnB in the late 90s and early 2000s because of his bias for the genre, subtle yet piercing vocals, Afy believes his encounter with the love of God keeps him soft and broken. Afy has over the years mentored, influenced and or inspired the ministry of a good number of frontline worship leaders in this generation…himself growing from the south of Nigeria to the nation and currently touring the world.
Afy Douglas has recorded 5 studio albums and written many songs (most notably “SAVIOUR, the man You saved, has come to worship You). He has ministered alongside many local and international Artists of great repute.
Afy Douglas is the convener of Worship Life College, an annual workshop designed to equip and impart worship leaders and all involved in the music of the church. Afy is particularly passionate about the next generation.
Ever humble and preferring to be called child of God, Afy is married to an amazing and beautiful fellow worship leader, Ayiba; they are blessed with 3 children. They currently make their home in Port Harcourt, South Nigeria.
