The Oil Mogul and the founder of Forte Oil, Mr Femi Otedola has promised to contribute one billion Naira towards the eradication of COVID-19, profjaysblog reports.
Femi Otedola confirmed this on his official and verified Twitter handle on 27th March, 2020.
In his word, he said “I will be contributing 1 billion Naira towards the eradication of COVID-19 across Nigeria. We must all do what we can to flatten the curve”.
Otedola will be joining other leagues of other billionaire who have showed support in the fight against the global covid-19 pandemic that’s currently ravaging the world.
Recall that the first case of this pandemic in the country was through an unknown Italian man and was first announced by the Minister for Health, and later collaborate by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC). The unknown Italian man has since been discharged and allowed to go home.
Also remember that the Minister for Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed informed Nigerians yesterday that they were looking for over 4,000 suspects of the pandemic covid-19 who has had contacts with the index cases so far.
