The Honorable member representing the people of Darazo/Ganjuma Federal Constituency, Mansur Manu Soro has beckon on his colleagues to donate and sacrifice their March salaries and allowances and contribute the sum of One Million Naira (1,000,000.00) each to the fight of the global covid-19 pandemic.
Honorable Mansur Manu Soro made the call on the floor of the house when he stood up to address the house about the covid-19 pandemic.

He said this “I wish to humbly call on my Honorable colleagues, the members of the House of Representatives; let’s sacrifice our March 2020 salaries and allowances to contribute N1million each to procure ventilators. Mathematically, N1 million X 360 members = N360 million/N9.5 million (average cost per ventilator) = 37 ventilators. The ventilators when procured can be distributed to public hospitals in the 36 states and FCT to further fight COVID-19 in the country”.
I think, if approved or granted, the simple gesture may go a long way to curb and fight this pandemic to a large extend.
