COVID-19: President Buhari to Address Nigerians by 7pm

President Muhammadu Buhari is set to address Nigerians today by 7pm on the state of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in the country, profjaysblog learnt.

Minister of Health, Dr Osagie Ehanire had briefed the president on the state of the pandemic in the country on Sunday.

This was made known by the Special Adviser (SA) on Media and Publicity to the President, Mr Femi Adesina.

Femi Adesina further stated that Television, Radio, and electronic media outlets across the country are enjoined to hook up to the network service of Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) respectively for the broadcast by 7pm.

Recall the Nigerians on social media platforms had demanded that President Muhammadu Buhari should address them, but, they were rebuffed by the president’s handlers especially Femi Adesina who had earlier said it was not the President’s style to address Nigerians.
