Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed another twenty three (23) new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Nigeria.
This was made known by the NCDC at about 8:00pm via their official Twitter handle on the 1st of April, 2020.
9 cases was recorded in Lagos, 7 in Abuja, 5 in Akwa Ibom while another 1 was recorded in Kaduna State.
Recall that we earlier reported about 12 New cases recorded in the early afternoon of today, 1st of April, 2020. With these new cases now, the number of new cases recorded today will be 35 cases of covid-19.
With the above, the total number of confirmed cases of covid-19 will be put at 174 cases. 9 persons have been discharged while 2 deaths have been recorded so far.
