The name ‘Mao’ is synonymous with greatness. In the history of mankind, only two outstanding personalities have borne the name ‘Mao.’ The first was the legendary Chairman Mao Tse-tung, leader of the Chinese Communist Party of the 40s and 60s, who was born in 1895 in Peking China.
Mao Tse-tung and his reliable hand and lieutenant, Marshall Lin Piao, and of course, Chairman Mao’s wife, Madame Chiang Ching Mao Tse-tung will never be forgotten in Chinese history for the outstanding contributions of ‘Maoism’ to the development of modern China between 1947 and 1968.
Mao’s proudest achievement was the bringing of orders and stability to a nation that never had them for nearly 30 years. Chairman Mao Tse-tung was indeed a blessing to the China of his time.
History seem to repeat itself six decades later, as another Mao, a greater Mao, a quintessential leader, an astute politician, a chartered politician, an erudite scholar, a gifted orator, a networker, was born into the family of the Ohuabunwas in Ancient Aro Okigbo kingdom.
Like his namesake and predecessor, Senator Mao Ohuabunwa and his amiable wife, Lady Mimi Faith Ohuabunwa have written their names in gold as great leaders.
