Profjaysblog reports that the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 276 new cases of coronavirus (covid-19) in the country.
The new cases was announced by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on their official and verified twitter handle late last night.
15 States recorded new cases of covid-19 yesterday’s night with Lagos State topping the list with 161 new cases, followed by Rivers State with 36 new cases and Edo State with 27 new cases respectively.
Kaduna State recorded 19 new cases, Nasarawa State recorded 10 new cases, Oyo State recorded 6 new cases, Kano State recorded 4 new cases, Delta State 3 new cases while Ebonyi and Gombe States recorded 3 and 2 new cases respectively.
States like Ogun State, Ondo State, Borno State, Abia State and Bauchi State recorded 1 case each.
With the above, the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria is now 8,344 cases with 2,385 patients have been discharged from various isolation centers in the country and 249 deaths so far.
