Nigeria Records 389 New Cases of COVID-19

According to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC), Nigeria has recorded three hundred and eighty nine (389) new cases of coronavirus (covid-19), profjaysblog reports.

The new cases of covid-19 was reported by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control on their official and verified twitter account late night of June 6th 2020 and sighted by profjaysblog.

Lagos State and FCT topped the list of the states with the highest new cases of covid-19 with 66 and 50 cases respectively.

Delta State recorded 32 new cases, Oyo State 31 new cases, Borno State 26 new cases, Rivers State 24 new cases, Edo State 23 new cases and Ebonyi State also recorded 23 new cases.

Anambra State recorded 17 new cases, Gombe State also recorded 17 new cases, Nasarawa State recorded 14 new cases, while Imo, Knao and Sokoto States recorded 12 new cases each.

Jigawa State 8, Ogun State 7, Bauchi State 5, Kebbi State 2, Kaduna State 2, Katsina State 2, Ondo State 2, Abia and Niger States recorded 1 new case each.

With the above new cases, the total number of confirmed cases covid-19 in Nigeria is now 12,233, number of discharged patients is now 3,826 while number of recorded deaths is now 342 as reported by NCDC.
