According to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC), Nigeria has recorded 315 new cases of covid-19 in the country, profjaysblog reports.
The report of the covid-19 new cases was posted to the commission’s official and verified twitter handle and sighted by profjaysblog.
Lagos State topped the list with 128 number of cases, FCT with 34 cases, Rivers State with 32 cases, Edo State with 28 new cases, Oyo State with 22 new cases, Kaduna State with 20 new cases and Gombe with 13 new cases.
Ogun State recorded 8 new cases, Plateau State recorded 5 new cases, Delta State recorded 7, Kwara with 7 also, while Kano State, Bauchi and Katsina States recorded 5,4 and 2 cases respectively, profjaysblog learnt.
With this, the total number of confirmed covid-19 cases in Nigeria according to Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) is now 12,801, the number of discharged patients from various isolation centers in the country as at the time of this report is 4,040 while 361 deaths have been recorded so far.
The percentage of discharged patients is over 30% while the percentage of deaths recorded is less than 10%.
