How A Fake Instagram Vendor, Funmilayo Victoria Scam Unsuspecting Customers on Social Media

The primary reason the social media was created was mainly for networking between people but as time went on, things changed from networking to buying and selling.

Thousands of people have made money genuinely from the use of social media while others did so through fraud using the same social media tool.

Instagram was primarily created as a platform where users can store their images with few letter words and get connected with old friends and also make new friends. Today, Instagram has become a tool where people showcase their products, goods and services.

Today, there are too many fake people claiming to be Instagram vendors and Funmilayo Victoria is one of them. She’s an Abuja big girl in reality and Instagram Scammer on social media.

Funmilayo Victoria, with Instagram handle @1ladies_wardrobe and phone number 08137050269 is a serial scammer and an Instagram Yahoo Yahoo whose trade is to scam unsuspecting clients who comes to purchase her “products”.

Sometimes in June 2020, one Mrs Jegede reached out to Funmilayo Victoria for Jalamiha and an agreement was reached. She made a transfer of N9,000 and she was later told she would be paying for the delivery which she agreed after series of back and forth argument. She inquired for another product (slippers) and she claimed she had them in stock, Mrs Jegede later sent in another N7,000 making a total of N16,000.

Hours turned to days, days turned to weeks with no products in sight, only for Mrs Jegede to discovered her number has been blocked by this criminal called Funmilayo Victoria.

All efforts to either get her products (what she paid for) or her money has proved abortive. She has sent series of messages to her on WhatsApp with different numbers, she will read and keep mute and sometimes block such a number.

Funmilayo Victoria is a serial scammer and a 419er.

A quick run on her shows she stays in Abuja meanwhile she told Mrs Jegede she stays in Ibandan. Another quick run shows she attended Demostration Secondary School in Zaria.
