Fuel Price Hike: Police Arrests 18 Protesters, 4 Journalists

About four journalists covering a protests against fuel price hike and electricity tariff have been arrested by the Nigerian Police Force. This was twitted by SaharaReporters through their official twitter handle and monitored by profjaysblog.

The arrested journalists are SaharaReporters, Punch and Premium times journalist.

Over 20 members of the Socialist Party Of Nigeria were also arrested at the protest ground.

Arrested are a total of 18 protesters including 4 journalists: Christopher Harry, Abisoye Kosoko, Tunde Yusuf, Akande Abiola, Ayo Ademiluyi, Ifeanyi Onwunalu, Davy Fidel, Dagga Tolar, Adetunji Gbenga, Usman Khadijat, Hassan Taiwo Soweto, Moshood Oshunfurewa, Taiwo Alao and Chinedu Bosah.

Journalists are: Ifeoluwa Adediran of @PremiumTimesng , Abiodun Ayeoba of @SahararaReporters, Awoniyi Oluwatosin of @objectvmedia and Daniel Tanimu of Galaxy TV.
