A reputable Igbo group, Igbo Youth Congress (IYC) Worldwide has described Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State as a visionary and transformational leader whom Nigerians need to alleviate tall the challenges facing the country.

In a statement made available to the newsmen in Abakaliki, which was signed by the National Publicity Secretary of Igbo Youth Congress Worldwide, Engr Osita Kalu Ugoji, the group said that Governor Umahi’s development strides and leadership ingenuity in Ebonyi State are unprecedented.

Declaring that Umahi is the best and most qualified Igbo for the Presidency in 2023, the group noted that the governor has shown enough capacity to the country to enviable height of world acclaim.

IYC further described the governor as a proactive leader who has always taken frontal lead on issues of national development.

They enlisted road projects by the governor in different parts of the state as a testament of Umahi’s willingness to develop the nation.

IYC said: “At this trying moment in our nation’s history, Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State is a visionary and transformational leader that will save Nigeria from her numerous challenges”.

“He has prepared his home for humanity, development, progress, unity, which has led to the transformation of Ebonyi; to compete with London in terms of infrastructure and human capital development despite the economic recession”.

“Engr. David Umahi has proven himself to be a visionary leader who has fulfilled all his campaign promise. He is a humble leader who takes proactive and frontal lead to issues of national development”.
