Profjaysblog reliably gathered that the Executive Governor of Rivers State, Ezenwo Wike has lifted the suspension of Port Harcourt Local Government Chairman, Hon Victor Ihunwo also known as Mayor of Port Harcourt.
This was contained in a press release made available to us by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Tammy Wenike Danagogo on the 5th of October, 2020.
The statement reads in part:
The Chairman is to resume normal duties immediately, and has been strictly warned to abide by all the rules governing local government administration.
He is further warned to desist from engaging in all forms of illegal or double taxation or any other acts against public interest.
