Former Abia Legislator, Hon Chukwudi Ogele Describes Onyejeocha as a Colossal Failure

Former Member representing Isuikwuato state constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Chukwudi John Ogele has described Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha as a colossal failure, a Mediocre and a legislator who has offered nothing but regrettable representation to the Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency where she represents at the National Assembly.

Hon Chukwudi Ogele bare his mind while interacting with us as regards a news report credited to Honorable Nkeiruka Onyejeocha where she criticized Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.

While responding, Hon. Ogele advised the Executive Governor of Abia State Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu to ignore her outburst because it was coming from someone who has no basis to criticize his administration.

”We really need to review the personality of the person making such statement before taking it serious, who is Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha?, What is her competence? what is her capacity and pedigree? “

”The Executive Governor of Abia State Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu is covering a state with greater constituencies, yet his project are visible among the communities, but Nkeiruka Onyejeocha with fewer Communities have not attracted a single kilometre road to Isiukwuato LGA. I have a lot of question about her integrity, she cannot stand up and talk about herself anyway, her first Election was unconstitutional because it was at the back of one local government”

Furthermore, “Isuikwuato did not give her any mandate and she ended up not representing Isiukwuato, Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha has spent over 13 years at the National Assembly with nothing to show for it”.

Honorable Ogele went further to compare himself with Honorable Onyejeocha and he stated;

“This comparison is necessary considering what Hon. Chukwudi John Ogele did as a state legislator between 2012 to 2019 where he attracted series of state development and dividend to the people, unlike Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha who for 13years as a federal law maker can not boast of a single project attracted by her to her people”

” What then is her basis for criticizing the incumbent Governor, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu who is working. At least I can attest for a road project from this administration , the Amaibo road, the renovation of Isuikwuato General Hospital and a lot more. We have our son’s and daughters serving at the state civil service and a lot at the local government areas . And that is through the effort of Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu who loves us so much”

“As a state legislator, I attracted a road project, renovated our secondary schools, built staff quarters for health officers at Ovim, built boreholes among others, the legacies are there . But there is no single project attributable to her in Isiukwuato, forget about the erosion control project because we are not certain of it yet . She has been laying claim to it for 13years “

On the issue of giving jobs to youths which is always the key campaign point of Honorable Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, Honorable Ogelle had this to say;

“Employments given by Onyejeocha are isuikwuato/Umunneochi quotas given to her like all others in the National assembly to distribute after all is she paying them from her pocket? Or are they working for her? The Governor has created over two thousand employments including political and non political. I equally assisted people get employment while in the house”.

“The good people of isuikwuato are not satisfied with the representation of Honorable Nkeiruka Onyejeocha, we are thereby giving her 72 hours to give us detail of her score card for the past 13 years or we will initiate a recall process to recall her for failure of adequate, effective and responsive representation” he concluded.
