For the past three hours the road linking Lagos and Ogun State is heavily held hostage by traffic gridlock in Ikorodu while passing through the Odogunya, Laspotech and Garage route, profjaysblog reports.
The traffic which cause was unknown but may be linked to the rush-hour home activities is unbelievable and unbearable to the road users.
However, the road which had been under construction for the past one year, was abandoned since the lockdown till date. But there is a spot known as death trap due to its sloppy nature within the Laspotech and Sawmill axis in which many tragedies had been recorded in the time past.
The citizens are crying out for help and urgent intervention for quick completion of the road construction.
