Aba South Wins Umuahia South During Under 21 Inter LG Football Competition Final (Photos)

Aba South Local Government Area has trashed Umuahia South Local Government Area in the just concluded under 21 Inter Local Government Female Football Competition organized by Abia State Government under the close supervision of Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Hon Emeka George Ikwuagwu.

Aba South Local Government won Umuahia South Local Government by 1:0 making the later became the second in the just concluded football competition.

Isuikwuato Local Government came third in the competition

The wife of the Governor of Abia State, Her Excellency, DCN Nkechi Ikpeazu who was ably represented by the wife of the Deputy Governor of Abia State, Lady Vivian Udo Oko-chukwu was presented with an Award as Pillar of Sports from the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, presented by the Honorable Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Emeka Ikwuagwu.

FALCON Club donated and presented 6 special trophies to some players as part of their contributions in support for the competitions and to the players who had displayed wonderful skills during the under 21 inter Local Government Football Competitions.

Some of the highlights of the event was during presentation of Awards and trophy to the winners….

2. Most Improved Goal Keeper – Amarachi Arulayo (Aba South)
3. Overall Best Goal Keeper – Uchechi Onyebuchi (Isuikwuato)
4. Most Valuable Player – Chizoba Orji (Isuikwuato)
5. Most Disciplined Team – Umunneochi LGA
6. Highest Goal Scorer – Chizoba Orji (Isuikwuato)

The technical team selected and announced about 30 players who displayed talents and played professionally. According to them, the selected players are qualified for further training, exposures for scouting and grooming by the state.
