The Abia State Independent Electoral Commission (ABSIEC) has declared Hon Chima (Chimaobi) Agbaeze as the winner of the just concluded Isuikwuato Local Government Area Chairmanship Elections which took place on the 18th December, 2020, profjaysblog reports.
Hon Chima Agbaeze emerged the flag bearer of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) after a fierce battle during the Party’s primary elections which took place some weeks ago.
Recall that Chima Agbaeze, a former Special Adviser to the Governor of Abia State, Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu was appointed a Transition Committee Chairman of Isuikwuato LGA some days to the 2019 Governorship election and was re-appointed the second time some months after Okezie Ikpeazu was re-elected as the State Governor.
Chima Agbaeze (PDP) defeated his opponent Chima Obi (APC) after pulling a total number of 15,630 against 1,200 from China Obi.
The results was announced by ABSIEC Chairman, Prof Agu Mkpa on the 19th December, 2020.
