The Federal Government through the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has extended the deadline initially set for all network subscribers to link their lines/SIMs to their National Identification Number (NIN) till February 9th, 2021, profjaysblog reports.
This was contained in a statement released on the official twitter handle of the commission on Tuesday 19th January, 2020.
The statement as released by the commission reads:
Public Notice!!!!
All Nigerians and legal residents are advised to enroll for their national identification number (NIN) and link them before february 9th, 2021.
Enroll for your national identification NUMBER (NIN) today!!!
Please remember, nin enrollment is FREE.
