Juachi Ochu who’s the founder and the chief editor of an online news dissemination platform known as profjaysblog as celebrated Hon Chief Michael Ibinabo West on his 58th birthday.
The former House of Assembly member who served between 2003 to 2011 and 2014/2015 Governorship aspirant under the umbrella of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Hon Chief Michael Ibinabo West was known for various constituency and empowerment projects during and after his stay at the assembly, profjaysblog learnt.
Profjaysblog gathered that the magnanimous politician stepped down to make space for other politicians who were seeking to represent same constituency and also to afford them the opportunity to serve and lead.
Recall that Hon Michael Ibinabo West was appointed Commissioner for Transportation sometimes in March 2018 during Governor Nyesom Wike’s first tenure in office.
He resigned his membership from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on the 24th November, 2020 in a letter addressed to his ward Chairman over what he termed gross relegation and humiliation and later decamped to All Progressive Congress (APC).
