Gov Wike Receives Alphine Whyte, Igo Aguma, Isobo Jack and Others Into Rivers State PDP

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has received a host of All Progressive Congress (APC) bigwigs into the state Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on the 22nd of May, 2021, profjaysblog reports.

Profjaysblog gathered that Hon Alphine Whyte, a former deputy mayor of Phalga LGA, Dr. Ikanya Davies a former State Chairman, APC, Rt.Hon.Igo Aguma a former National Assembly Member and former Ag.Chairman APC, Chief Ogbogbo Nnamdi a former APC LGA Leader, Hon. Isobo Jack a former Caretaker Chairman, APC, Chief Hon.Wisdom Wakama (Wizzy Waks), a former Minority Leader in the State Assembly, and Hon. Alamese Martins-Yellow and others were amongst the APC bigwigs who were received by Gov Nyesom Ezenwo Wike and other PDP faithfuls in the state.

Many of the decampees cited deceptiveness and the tragic performance of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the state and the country at large as reasons for dumping the party for Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The Deputy Governor of Rivers State, Dr Ipalibo Harry Banigo, PDP State Chairman, Amb Desmond Akawor, former Governor of Rivers State, Sir Celestine Omehia, PDP leaders and PDP Chairmen of all Local Government Areas of State were amongst the dignitaries that received all the decampees with his Excellency, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike at the venue.
