Bandits have attacked Goska community in Jema’a Local Government Area of Kaduna State and killed four persons.
Security agencies report in the State confirmed the deadly attack on the community by bandits.
The state Commissioner, Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, in a statement, explained that the bandits on Tuesday stormed the community and killed four residents.
According to the statement, those killed were identified as Wakili Kon, Yusuf Joshua, Martha Ayuba and Lami Peter.
The statement explained that Kon and Joshua were attacked and killed on their farms.
According to the statement, “One woman, Laraba Silas, sustained gunshot injuries and was rushed to hospital.”
Governor Nasir El-Rufai, while expressing sadness at the reports, prayed for the repose of the souls of the residents who were brutally killed by the bandits.
The Governor sent his condolences to their families, and wished the injured citizen a quick recovery.
According to the report, security patrols are ongoing in the general area, alongside investigations into the attack.
