Isuikwuato Born Philanthropist, Dr Chibuzo Ejimofor Partners with Isuikwuato LGA in Fighting Insecurity

Isuikwuato LGA Executive Chairman, Hon Chima Agbaeze, has distributed smart phones to selected primary schools in the LGA in the first phase of equipping schools within with communication gadgets for real time reporting of insecurity threats in and around the schools to appropriate agencies.

Isuikwuato LGA in partnership with Dr Chibuzo Ejimofor is working on making sure the schools in the LGA are protected from herdsmen menace, banditry, kidnapping and other threats of insecurity. These, it was noted can only be achieved if the mechanisms for prompt report of insecurity threats are in place, hence the provision of these phones as part of the measures for achieving them.

The Isuikwuato LGA Council Boss while presenting the phones to the Headteachers of the schools charged them to make judicious use of them. He specifically stressed that such reports should go to government recognized security agencies, the Local Government Education Secretary and or his office.

Hon Chima Agbaeze, then showed praises on Dr Chibuzo MacRichard Ejimofo for partnering with the Council at this period, assuring him that his office will monitor and make sure that the phones are use for the purpose for which they are provided. He then called on other prominent sons and daughters of Isuikwuato LGA to emulate Dr Ejimofo and partner with the LGA in any area of their choice for a greater and better Isuikwuato LGA.

Some of the schools that benefited in this first phase are Amaba Central School, Ovim Community School, Umuobiala Community School amongst others
