The Abia State Town Unions Association National Youth Wing ably led by Rt. Comr. China Joel Okorie condemned in totality the actions of the Directorate of State Services and the Nigerian Judiciary for their flimsy excuses and inability to provide and try Mazi Nnamdi Kanu the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
The chain on Mazi Nnamdi Kanu’s hands is also the chain on the hands of NdiAbia, Ndigbo and old Eastern region states. We are aware he is a British citizen and the whole world knows that he’s is playing the role of a freedom fighter who detected the ill-treatment, killings and raping of his people and stood against it hence self-determination is not a crime anywhere in the world.
We frown on the extraordinary rendition/kidnapping of a British citizen (Mazi Nnamdi Kanu) by the federal government in collaboration with the Kenyan government. Abia State youths is well aware of the inhumane and brutalisation Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is going through in the secret Dungeon of the DSS. We are also aware of his present detoriation condition of health and his inability to have access to his personal physicians.
Therefore, we call on the federal government to ensure that nothing happens to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and also calls for his unconditional release because the lawful captives (the killer Fulani Herdsmen, Bandits, Boko Haram, and Miyetti Allah) who has killed thousands of souls in Nigeria and are still killing ate allowed to walk freely with AK -47 and also been pardoned through the intervention of the federal government. Abia State youths will not take it lightly should anything happens tongue brother Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
We call on United Nations (UN), United States (US), the European Union (EU), United Kingdom (UK), the State of Israel and the African Union (AU) to prevail on the federal government of Nigeria to release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu unconditionally because the federal government acted illegally through extraordinary rendition /kidnapping and he can’t stand trial under illegality. The Nigeria Judiciary should wake up from their slumber.
In this press statement released in Lagos and signed by the National President, Rt. Comr. Chima Joel Okorie, the National Secretary, Mr. Ndubuisi Kingsley Onwuchekwa and the National Publicity Secretary (NPRO), Mr. Sylvester Kalu Obasi also constituted a 5man legal team to follow the events and called on the federal government to release all the Igbo youths they tagged terrorists, many of them are undergoing unexplainable tortures in various detentions in Nigeria and compensate the families of those they killed extrajudicially since inception of this current government.
