Meet Dr Uzoaku Odinakachukwu Amadi, The Overall Best Graduating Student From University of Uyo

Dr Uzoaku Odinakachukwu Amadi with reg number 13/CS/MB/701 has graduated with 7 distinctions and the best graduating students at the College of Health Science, University of Uyo, in Akwa Ibom State.

Dr Uzoaku Odinakachukwu Amadi who hails from Ikeduru in Imo State was commended by the College Provost, Prof Ejetete J. Peters during the 18th physician oath taking for her sterling performance and mile stones of great achievements, distinguishing her as an exemplary figure having graduated with distinctions in seven courses, profjaysblog gathered.

Dr Uzoaku Odinakachukwu who loves reading, writing, drawing and painting was born in 1997 and attended the famous Federal Government Girls College (FGGC), Owerri and also emerged as the best graduating students during her time.

The father in-law to Dr Uzoaku Odinakachukwu, Chief Harritex Njoku poured out encomium on the graduand in an overwhelming joy and also encouraged parents to shun gender inequalities and allow their daughters to attain greater heights in the field of education, business management and administration, etc so as to harness their full potentials.

Chief Harritex Njoku further advised parents, guidance and others present not to discriminate between the girl and the boy child as they can reach any goals is given the required supports. He stated this while advocacy for the girl child education at the physicians oath taking premises.

We gathered that, Dr Uzoaku Odinakachukwu was the best graduating student in; Community Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, Laboratory Medicine, Clinical Pharmacology, Anatomy and Physiology.

We also gathered that she obtained the highest scores in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Biochemistry conferring on her as the overall best graduating students.

Notable dignitaries present at the ceremony are the Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the University Uyo Teaching Hospital (UUTH) Prof. Emem Abasi Bassey and the Chairman National Medical Association Uyo chapter Dr. Nsikak Paul Nyoyoko.

The high point of the event was when the Chief Medical Director of the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital, Prof. Emem Abasi Bassey offered Dr Uzoaku Odinakachukwu the sum of One hundred thousand naira as cash prize and the Chairman of National Medical Association, Uyo Chapter, Dr. Nsikak Paul Nyoyoko also offered her the sum of Fifty Thousand Naira as cash prize also for being the best graduating student of the college for attaining such an eagle heights in the academic field and science.
