Abia Speaker Bags ‘Ubazuoke Nke Ndi Abia’ Title for His Philanthropic Gestures

The Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Engr Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji earlier today attended the 70th Birthday and 22 Years Anniversary of His Royal Majesty, Eze Ndubuisi J. Nwabeke, on the throne as Eze Amara 1 of Eziama Ntigha Ancient Kingdom.

The Speaker was conferred with a chieftaincy title at the epoch making event as the “Ubazuoke Nke Ndi Abia” for his famed philanthropic gestures to all and sundry, by His Royal Majesty Eze Ndubuisi J. Nwabeke who is also the Chairman of Abia State Council of Traditional Rulers.

The Governor, Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu was also conferred with a chieftaincy title as Ikoro Ukwu Ndi Abia.

Other prominent sons of Abia State who were also conferred with chieftaincy titles at the event include Hon Ginger Onwusibe, Member representing Isiala Ngwa North State Constituency as Dike Eji Aga Mba Nke Ndi Abia, and Hon Uko Nkole, Member representing Arochukwu/ Ohafia Federal Constituency as Enyi Oha Ndi Abia.

The Deputy Governor of Abia State, Rt Hon Ude Oko Chukwu, Rt Hon Darlington Nwokocha, Member representing Isialangwa North/South Federal Constituency, Hon Kelechi Onuzuruike, Member representing Umuahia North State Constituency, Hon Stanley Nwabuisi, Member representing Ikwuano State Constituency, Barr Chris Chiadi Ezem, Secretary to the State Government, Prince Christopher Enweremadu, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Chief Onyema Ugochukwu, former Chairman of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Senator Emma Nwaka, former Abia State Chairman of People’s Democratic Party, Colonel Augustine Akobundu (Rtd), immediate past National Organising Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party, Chairmen of Local Government Areas, Members of Aba Sports Club, Traditional Rulers, businessmen and clergymen, all graced the occasion.
