Dr Onyinye Rufus-Obi Sensitized Isuikwuato Communities Over INEC Voters Registration Exercise

The founder of Onyinye Rufus-Obi Omekannaya’s Foundation and the Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal House of Representatives aspirant, Dr Onyinye Rufus-Obi has taken the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Voters Registration exercise sensitization to the people of Isuikwuato LGA of Abia State, profjaysblog reports.

Dr Onyinye while addressing a mammoth crowd stressed out the importance and the advantages of participating in the ongoing INEC voters registration exercise to communities in Isuikwuato Local Government Area of Abia State.

The sensitization exercise which kicked off in Umuokogbuo-Eluama community on the 30th of January, 2022 will also spread to other communities in the Local Government Area. This she said was necessary to enable her people especially those who recently became of age and are eligible to vote in the coming general elections to exercise their franchise and decide who’s going to lead them in the coming election.

Partaking in the INEC Voters ongoing registration exercise is the only way one can add his or her voice during the general elections and also decide who leads you as your voters card is your vehicle to choosing your next leader(s), she added.

She also also condemned the outright disdain and the nonchalant attitude of the people in the south east especially in Abia State and in Isuikwuato Local Government Area to be precise towards the continuous voters registration exercise.

Dr Onyinye Rufus-Obi encouraged various political parties, groups, religious leaders, traditional leaders, market leaders, and human rights activists to mobilize and keep educating the people on the need to participate in the ongoing INEC voters registration exercise.

She further stated that the race for the 2023 general elections has begun and politics, they said, is a game of number. So, it is imperative to note that for us (Isuikwuato) to actualize the much needed results, we must influence every adult that’s eligible to vote in the Local Government Area to partake and obtain and secure their voter’s card as a weapon to enthrone good governance and dethroned bad leadership in the state, Local Government and the constituency.
