What Went Down at 2022 Global Merit Media Award Nigeria (Photos)

The Global Merit Media Award Nigeria held her 2022 merit award on the 6th of March 2022 at the prestigious De Premix Hotels situated around woji junction.

The media award which had about 16 awardees and anchored by its South South Coordinator, Mr Ifeanyi Godwin Enyioma also known as “Uncle Pee” in the entertainment industry.

During the South South Coordinator of the organization’s opening remarks, he stressed that the merit media award had selected some individual who had done exceptionally well in their areas of endeavors. He further stated that, the awardees were chosen due to their impacts in the society, human development and capacity building.

Also, in an address presented by the National Chairman of Global Merit Media Award, Hon Prince Godwin, JP, he opined that, the organization has been very active in selecting, scrutinizing, evaluating, recommending and recognizing the good people of the society in our nation to an award merit due to their uncommon and excellent contributions to the masses, closed persons, churches, organizations,, warring communities, identifying their needs and helping them, chatting the course of the less privilege, empowering human capacity project towards making sure they achieve a set goal, thereby reducing youthful waste and crime in our society.

We are neither political nor religious in our affairs of encouraging awardees to continue their good deeds to the entire society. Neither are sentimental, tribalistic, favouritism and nepotism that have been the bane of a despaired developments and sustainable establishment of infrastructures and provision of social amenities in our nation.

We are organization created to form a beam of encouragement and an appreciation to those in the gap of helping and empowering humanity and God’s work in one way or the other.

We believe that, appreciation encourages hard work and productivity. GMMAN is a national organization, we are mobile force towards building, helpers and contributors to a better nation in our country.

A help to one, is a help to all. Empowerment given to one, is an empowerment to all.

Having selected these awardees to be honored today does not in any way a show of sense of pride but making them to know that people are taking note of their good deeds because the voice of the people is the voice of God.

We consulted too many people directly and indirectly before the board of trustees and working committee give a go ahead order for award them. We therefore, say, a big congratulations to all the awardees here present who are blessed to receive a merit award, today being 6th of March, 2022 in the presence of so many witnesses.

The exercise is not a closed door event because the media is extensively involved to publicize and promote it like the Grammy Awards and Punch Awards.

Herein, to whom much is given,, much is expected. The board of trustees expect the awardees to show a sign of appreciation towards the continuation and sustainance of Glob Merit Media Award, Nigeria.

At the end, the National Chairman of GMMAN thanked and appreciated everyone for coming and also asked for God’s guidance in all they do.
