The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has approved waiver in favour of Chief Amobi Godwin Ogah to contest for the Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency come 2023, profjaysblog gathered.

In the release signed by the Abia State PDP Chairman, Rt Hon Ahwell Asiforo Okere, he posited that waivers will be extended to all newly admitted members of the ruling party and that his request in particular has been approved.

Recall that, Chief Amobi Ogah had resigned his membership from the All Progressive Congress (APC) and later joined the state ruling party (PDP) in an elaborated event with his hundreds of supporters at Uturu in Isuikwuato Local Government Area of Abia State.

The release reads in parts as follows;

With reference to your application of April 1st 2022 on the above captioned heading and your reference to my promise that waivers will be extended to all our new members, I write to convey my approval to your request and further extend that party’s congratulations.

We employ you to be a good representative of our Great Party (PDP) in any official assignment or representation you find yourself that will further enhance our good image and at the same time encourage your teeming supporters to be good ambassador of our Party (PDP).
