Speaking at the visit was the D.G. of Dr. Ani Wellington’s campaign organization, Dr. Donatus Udaette, who stated Dr. Ani Wellington’s plans and why he is the right choice to lead the great party and the people of Akwa Ibom State, stating that if elected, Akwa Ibom State will experience rapid growth, job creation, and a model state similar to Dubai.
Dr. Ani Wellington, he said, is a son of the soil and a grassroot activist who fully understands the needs of the people. We know what we’re up against, and we already have an economic team on the ground from various countries willing to invest in the state as well as be a part of the government’s initiatives.
Dr. Wellington assured everyone in attendance that he did not come out to brag or gain popularity; rather, before now, he had empowered many Akwa Ibomites, given to charity, and worked selflessly for the state’s development.
He stated that he decided to run for governor in order to attract more investors to the state, maintain existing infrastructure, create more jobs, and encourage youth engagement in the digital space through innovation and sustainable development.
