Various political women and youth groups stormed the home of Dr. Onyinye Rufus Obi in Umuokogbuo, Eluama, Isuikwuato Local Govt Area on Sunday 1st May 2022.
The groups in their message strongly believe that if Dr. Onyinye Rufus Obi is given the opportunity to represent Isuikwuato/Umunneochi, her impact will be instantly felt because of her exposure, array of network, expertise, experience in public and private sector. The groups reiterated the fact that she’s the only one that can bring about the needed change.
In her response, she urged them to get more involved in politics so that their voice can be heard. As long as many youths get involved in the political process, we will be able to take decisions that will affect our community and state positively, she said
She was impressed with the overwhelming voice vote and THE CALL for her to declare and represent them come 2023. She said the call came timely as the political process is still ongoing, so she asked them to just watch out and pray for a peaceful electioneering process in Nigeria as a whole and Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency.
She believes that collectively, she will work together with all volunteers to make sure we get effective representation come 2023.
To this end, the crowd through a voice vote respectfully affirmed that Dr. Onyinye Rufus Obi (OMEKANNAYA 1) should declare and pick up the nomination form to represent the good people of Isuikwuato/ Umunneochi Federal Constituency in the upcoming 2023 Elections.
