The frontline Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency hopeful, Dr Onyinye Rufus-Obi is set to dump All Progressive Congress (APC) for All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) today being 22nd of May, 2022.
An insider had hinted us that, Dr Onyinye Rufus-Obi is set to decamp due to the heavy crisis tearing the All Progressive Congress (APC) party in Abia State and may be experiencing what Rivers State experienced in the last general elections.
It was also alleged that, her defection into APGA might not be unconnected to the facts that, the National Working Committee of the ruling had perfected plans to return all principal officers of the party at the National Assembly.
Dr Onyinye Rufus-Obi would be decamping into APGA at her country home in Umuokogbuo-Eluama, Isuikwuato Local Government Area of Abia State with her structures today.
Some of the party faithfuls are of the opinion that, the impositions of some principal officers of the national assembly will further tear the party apart and possibly make the party go into extinction.
