Dr Onyinye Rufus-Obi has on Friday, 27th May, 2022 emerged the winner of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) house of representatives primary elections polling all the total votes cast, profjaysblog reports.
The optometrist, philanthropist cum politician was certified and declared winner at the APGA office in Isuikwuato Local Government Area of Abia State.
The All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Abia North Zonal Chairman, Eze Elect, Olughu Kalu made the declaration and pronounced Dr Onyinye Rufus-Obi the winner of the party’s primaries and the flag bearer.
Profjaysblog learnt that, the Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency primaries was conducted under the close supervision of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) with the delegated party officials alongside some security agencies.
Dr Onyinye promised to deliver dividends of democracy across her constituency and beyond.
Dr Onyinye who recently received over 2000 members of her structures who decamped with her from her previous political party, All Progressive Congress (APC), secured the party’s ticket to vie for the Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency in the coming general elections in 2023.
Her recently received structures were not left out as they all trooped out in their numbers to cheer her up and give her the maximum encouragement needed.
