The former Governor of Lagos State and the National Leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu has emerged the Presidential candidate of the APC at the just concluded elections held at Eagle Square, profjaysblog reports.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu who entered into the contest with others has been announced the winner of the primary elections.
Tinubu won the Presidential Primary Elections with a total votes of 1,271 votes out of about 2000+ votes casted.
The former Governor of Rivers State and the immediate past Minister for Transportation, Rt Hon Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi came a distant second with the incumbent Vice President of Nigeria, Prof Yemi Osinbajo SAN, as the third.
Rotimi polled a total votes of 316, while Prof Yemi Osinbajo polled a total votes of 235 and the Senate President, Sen Ahmed Lawan polled a total votes of 152 respectively.
Profjaysblog gathered that, the Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr Dave Umahi polled a total votes of 38, while the Governor of Cross River State polled a total votes of 37.
Sen Ahmed Rufai Sani polled a total votes of 4, Nwajiuba Chukwuemeka and Dr Ogbonnaya Onu polled 1 vote respectively while a total of 13 votes were voided.
The likes of Former Gov of Imo State, Sen Rochas Okorocha, Pastor Tunde Bakare, etc got zero votes each.
