The candidate for Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency under the umbrella of All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), Dr Onyinye Rufus-Obi paid an august visit to His Royal Majesty, Eze Ifeanyi Ugoagha, the Obi Ogudu 1 of Amiyi-Uhu autonomous community at his residence in Aba, the commercial city of Abia State.
Dr Onyinye told His Royal Majesty, Eze Ifeanyi Ugoagha about her political position in the next coming elections and the party she’s representing.
They both discussed at length as he spoke glowingly about her late father, Pharmacist Rufus Obi and her mum, Dame Christiana Isiaku Rufus – Obi, Diamond Mother of the Methodist church. The Royal father said, his friendship with Dr Onyinye Rufus-Obi’s father spanned over several years and it was a very fruitful one back in the days.
The Abia monarch said, the efforts of the late pharmacist in Isuikwuato and in Abia State can’t be forgotten easily as he was always at the forefront during the creation of Abia State.
The monarch stressed that, as an Ada Ukwu Isuikwuato, that they were left with no other option than to encourage and strengthen her with their full support and give her, their maximum and necessary push. He further assured Dr Onyinye Rufus-Obi of his total and unalloyed commitment to the mission as she is his own project.
Continuing, he said the coming elections will prove to Dr Onyinye Rufus-Obi the kinds of support that awaits her.
He prayed for her fervently and blessed her and asked her to move forward with courage, that the LORD of Hosts was with her.
The wife of the monarch, Ugo Eze Ugoagha was present during the visit and was in total support of her husband intentions to throw in his full support and to encourage , Dr Kay Rufus OBI.
Dignitaries present were Rev Otunsieme, Hon Longlife Ejiuwaka, Deaconess Umesiobi, Pastor Chukwudi Okoroafor, the APGA isuikwuato LGA Chairman and host of others.
