St John’s Methodist Church, Mgbelu Umunnekwu, Oguduasa has honoured Dr Onyinye Rufus-Obi with the Ezi Ada Jesus Awards on the 28th of August, 2022 in Isuikwuato Local Government Area of Abia State, profjaysblog reports.
The Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency candidate was ably represented at the awards ceremony by the National women Leader of Umuokogbuo Development Union, Eluama Women Leader, Lolo Fanny Nwachukwu and her team of great Christian women – Mrs Godwin Nwaji, Mrs Felicia Onwuchekwa, Mrs Chidiebere Ochu, Mrs Catherine Okwum, Very Rev. Ugo Chinedu, Ms Obiageri Uzom, Mrs Nkechi Onwuasoanya, Mrs Ugo, Mrs Madukairo and others.
The prestigious title of Ezi Ada Jesus Methodist Church was presented to her by the Bishop of Methodist Church, Isuikwuato Diocese, The Rt Rev Geoffrey Uzochukwu Kanu during the grand finale of the 20th Annual Women Fellowship Conference with the theme; “Christian Women Prepare for The Second Coming of Jesus”.
The bishop admonished the women to be image makers and home builders. He reminded them also that, this period should be a period of sober reflection, retracing of ones steps and following the foot steps of Our Lord Jesus Christ. He further asked them to always be ready and prepare for the second coming of Jesus and also be at alert at all time. It was a long but successful preaching outing as more activities were rolled out for the day.
Other anointed men of God who were present are; Rev Brown Onyekachi, Rev Smart, Rev Onwaoma Nweke, Deaconess Ezinne Mercy Kanu, Ezinne Frank Charity Ihunanya and other team of men of God.
