Abia APC Condemns Fake Press Release From Ex Publicity Secretary, Okey Ezeala

The Abia State All Progressives Congress (APC) Party Chairman, Dr Kingsley Ononugbu has so far distanced himself and the entire State Working Committee from the widely spread press Release emanating from one Okey Ezeala, the former Publicity of secratery of the party.

Debunking the rumours when contacted by our reporter, Dr. Kingsley Ononugbu in clear terms refuted the news making rounds stating that it is false as such release was never made by leadership of the Party, his office or a proxy adding that such news are no doubt the handiwork of evil bidders who’s stock in trade is to promote hostility, disunity and conflict within the party.

Speaking further, the Party Chairman while giving more clarifications reiterated that that at no time did the party find someone like Rep. Benjamin Okezie Kalu to be a devisive enabler, or progenitor of crisis pointing that those who are unnecessarily fighting him are doing that for their own selfish interests as the party remains the facrulm of unity, peaceful coexistence and beacon of democracy.

While efforts to reach Okey Ezeala proved abortive as the said Party Chieftain’s phone lines where all switched off as of this report.

Meanwhile, a staff at the APC Secretariat in Abia State who pleaded anonymity in confidence informed our reporter that the self acclaimed party Publicity Secretary has long been annexed from the party leadership in the state due to his inconsistent and unreliable character ranging from Anti-Party activities, unguarded utterances and frivolous views noting that he has allegedly been on the payroll of Sen. Orji Kalu (the chief whip of the Senate) a development which did not go down well with some members of the party across the state.

When asked to throw more light on the views of the party concerning the ongoing name calling and needles campaigns of calumny amongst the highly placed stakeholders of the party across the state,
