The Rivers State Waste Management Agency Waste Evacuators have cried out to the Rivers State Government not to repeat the outright withholding of payment meted on them almost 2years ago by this same government, as the April 2022 payment has remained unpaid with no sign of payment plan.
The Waste evacuators lamented on the high cost of diesel, Man power and maintenance of working equipment.
“The April 2022 payment bite so hard because it was the beginning of the 100% increase in cost of diesel and since then the Contractors had remained patriotic to keeping the State clean under a very hard condition.
Your Excellency Sir, please consider this appeal as a major issue as it affects our operation so badly, we vow to remain supportive in your massive infrastructural revolution in our dear state.
