DMOMA Awards Holds As Many Reportedly Shun Rivers State Event

The 2022 DMOMA Awards has come and gone but the buzz around it is still sounding a very strong echo in the ears of Port Harcourt citizens as the event was hosted on the same day, time with the Rivers State Government award night also.

Though, report has it that, the 2022 DMOMA awards date was announced sometimes in 2021 and that of Rivers State Government was announced and birthed few days before the program held. Majority of the awardees of the prestigious DMOMA Awards were also awarded by the Rivers State Government which makes it an interesting events of the day.

Our findings shows that, despite having the two programs simultaneously, the venue for the DMOMA Awards was still filled up with over eighty percent (80%) of its awardees in attendance, thereby shunning that of the Rivers State Government award night.

When our correspondent asked the organizer of the DMOMA Awards, Mr Chidiebele Okoye, how he was able to pull such a number of guests despite the simultaneous program, he has this to say;

“It’s not easy to hold a prestigious DMOMA Awards in pari passu with the State government in Rivers State.

The State Government fixed her award night same city, LGA, same day and time with DMOMA AWARD , Also Awards almost same people published for DMOMA Awards…..

DMOMA Awards 2022 date was fixed since December 10th 2021 and can’t be shifted 10 days to the award night.

But God Almighty manifested his glory in its apogee.
