Dr Onyinye Rufus-Obi Bags Chieftaincy Conferment as Ugo Si Mba of Lokpanta in Umunneochi

It was yet another groundbreaking ceremony and a well orchestrated Coronation of His Royal Highness Eze Sir Ifeanyi Anthony Jude Eke (KSM, MIOD, FCSMP), as the UDUMEZE III OF LOKPANTA at the Palace of Peace, Amaeke Lokpanta of Abia State.

This glorious occasion featured great events showcasing the colourful and rich cultural heritage of the Lokpanta people, and graced by great personalities from far and within. Among those who were present were the Deputy Governor of Abia State in the person of Rt. Hon. Sir, Ude Oko Chukwu (FCA), and the All Progressives Grand Alliance candidate for Isuikwuato/ Umunneochi Federal House of Representatives Dr. Onyinye Kay Rufus Obi popularly known as OMEKANNAYA 1 of Isuikwuato.

The climax of the event was the conferment of a Chieftaincy title of UGO SI MBA 1 (The Pride from another Land 1) of Lokpanta for her selfless services and humanitarian contributions towards the wellbeing of the Lokpanta people on Dr. Onyinye Kay Rufus Obi, the APGA candidate for isuikwuato/ Umunneochi Federal Constituency with the.

Her emergence from the mammoth crowd was both unique, colourful and extraordinary. Accompanied by multitudes of women from both Umunneochi and Isuikwuato wearing the OMEKANNAYA branded attires and singing at the top of their voices songs revealing Omekannaya’s kindness, humility, charisma, strength and the hope for a better Isuikwuato/ Umunneochi Federal Constituency.

Late Pharm. Rufus Obi was appreciated for all his good works and show of love to the Lokpanta people of Umunneochi and Abia at large, and his daughter Omekannaya was accorded the privilege of being celebrated as a true daughter, a lioness of Abia and a national figure who have international exposure.
